1. Homemade Product Disclosure
All cookies sold through Cooking with Erik are homemade in a residential kitchen that is not subject to routine state inspection. We operate under local cottage food laws and follow best practices for cleanliness and food safety, though we are not a licensed commercial facility.
2. Allergen Disclaimer
Our products contain the following common allergens:
Wheat (gluten)
Milk/Dairy
Eggs
We do not accommodate allergy-free requests at this time. Products are made in a shared kitchen where cross-contact with allergens may occur. Customers with severe food allergies should not consume our products.
3. Ordering & Shipping Schedule
Cookies are baked fresh every Sunday and shipped on Monday.
Orders placed before Sunday are fulfilled the upcoming Sunday/Monday.
Orders placed on or after Sunday are fulfilled the following Sunday/Monday.
We use USPS or UPS for shipping. We are not responsible for delays once packages have been shipped.
4. Refunds & Returns
Due to the perishable nature of our products, all sales are final. If your order is damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will do our best to resolve the issue.
5. College Fund & Nonprofit Support
Proceeds from cookie sales support Erik’s 529 College Savings Plan. A portion of sales may also benefit our nonprofit partner, FeedingJoy.org, which fights childhood hunger.
6. Limitation of Liability
By placing an order, you accept all risks related to food allergies, shipping delays, and third-party service issues. Cooking with Erik is not liable for any damages, losses, or adverse reactions.
7. Privacy Policy
We only collect information necessary to process your order. Payments are handled securely through trusted third-party platforms (Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay). Your personal data is never sold or shared.
